We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our construction team as a Construction Project Coordinator.
In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth execution of construction projects by coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the construction process.
You will work closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Project Coordination:
Assist in coordinating construction projects from start to finish, ensuring efficient project execution and adherence to project schedules.
Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
2.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
Prepare regular progress reports and update project stakeholders on the status of construction activities, highlighting any potential issues or delays.
3.
Communication and Collaboration:
Serve as a primary point of contact for project teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring everyone has the necessary information to complete their tasks and meet project requirements.
4.
Permitting and Compliance:
Assist in obtaining necessary permits and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, inspectors, and other relevant entities to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.
5.
Resource Management:
Coordinate the procurement and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and supplies to meet project requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of resources to minimize project delays.
6.
Quality Control:
Collaborate with project teams to ensure construction activities meet quality standards and comply with project specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any deficiencies or deviations from the project plan.

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines, budget, or quality.
Work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these risks.
8.
Change Management:
Assist in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
Evaluate change requests, assess their impact on the project, and coordinate necessary adjustments with relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Relevant certifications or training programs are a plus.
Proven experience in construction coordination, project management, or a related role within the construction industry.
Solid understanding of construction processes, codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
Knowledge of procurement processes and ability to manage supplier relationships.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
