00 /year Job Description This position provides desktop support for computer hardware and software issues for the entire organization.
Work requires knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, printing, scanning, basic networking and mobile devices.
Position responds to user/customer requests and ensures timely resolution to all assigned Help Desk tickets.
This position operates in an office setting Monday through Friday; however occasional evening, holiday and weekend hours are required for critical system support and for technical emergencies.
Non-exempt positions will be compensated for any hours worked over 40, in compliance with our overtime compensatory time policies Travel between county work sites is required and mileage is compensated.
The position works under general supervision of the Court Technology Officer, as an IT team, or independently on assigned projects and tasks.
Essential Job Functions:

Provides front-line support for all users via Help desk emails, remote desktop, in-person and telephone Installs hardware and peripheral components such as computers, monitors, keyboards, printers and any other user needed desktop devices, and resolves any connectivity problems as required Ensures the appropriate software applications, virus protection, and updates are installed on user's computer systems Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs and peripherals to meet users' requirements Trains, troubleshoots, and resolves Audio-Visual equipment issues Provides updates, status and completion information to managers and/or users via email or in-person communication Escalates major hardware/software application problems to appropriate IT personnel Assists in research and recommendation of computer accessories and supplies for the IT department, and conducts yearly equipment inventory audits.
Maintains established organizational/departmental productivity standards Complies with all personnel policies and procedures Performs other duties as assigned IT Knowledge of:
Microsoft OS products up to Windows 10 Microsoft Office Professional applications up to Office365 O365 Outlook E-mail LAN's, WAN's, cabling, TCP/IP, remote access Dell PC operations and associated peripheral equipment Audio-Visual functionality (ZOOM, MS TEAMS)
Experience:
Associates degree in Information Technology or related field supplemented by five (5) years of recent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work.
