Job Description:
L3Harris, Wescam USA is looking for an experienced inventory specialist to join our team.
The Government Property Specialist is responsible to manage, maintain and report on all Government owned and Government Furnished Property (GFP) within the WESCAM Aggregate Service Plan (WASP).
The Government Property Specialist will function as the Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-CICP) responsible for inventory of all WASP Government/Customer owned assets in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contractual requirements.
Responsible to implement, establish and maintain an inventory management database system that provides accurate asset visibility, inventory, and status reporting.
Maintains warehouses and provides wholesale level support.
Acts as a Shipping Coordinator function and performs administrative duties related to the shipment and receipt of all Government materials, assets, supplies, special equipment, and finished products.
Acts as liaison for logistics, repair part requisitions, and inventory transactions.
Maintains knowledge of company products and customer service processes.
The CICP provides dedicated inventory support and interface with a single strategic customer.
The CICP support will occur directly onsite with this customer facility at Hurlburt Field, Florida.
The CICP must always project a positive image of our department and company that will meet our customer's highest expectations for service and support of their L3Harris Technologies team.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for providing unique spare parts and support equipment supply chain management support Responsible for accountability and control of Government owned property and material.
Responsible for implementing an Information Management System (IMS) capable of interfacing with DOD and Air Force systems through the Defense Logistics Agency's Defense Automated Addressing System (DAAS) using Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) transactions.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining wholesale warehouses and provide wholesale level supply support Responsible for establishing and maintaining a contractor Inventory Management System (IMS) or a system of internal controls to provide asset visibility and inventory status reporting Read, interpret, and apply company policies and procedures and contract requirements as they relate to property management Communicate with internal customers regarding repair, upgrade, and warranty policies.
Responsible for all incoming and outgoing Gov assets, equipment, shipments, and repair parts inventory Receiving, inventorying, and storing Government Coordinate Shipping, Receiving, and storing of all Government owned GFE, STTE (MX turrets, DMCUs, ACPs and LCPs, etc.
) Assist with packaging, handling, storage and transportation Maintain configuration management Coordinating scrap dispositions of Gov and/or WESCAM assists Participate in coordinator meetings for most current shipment commitments or obstacles Support all required meetings including internal and external as required Provide off hour support on a scheduled basis Other tasks or duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior supply chain/inventory management experience; or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 8 years of supply chain/inventory management experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior supply chain/inventory management experience.

Must be able to obtain security clearance requiring valid US citzenship at point of hire.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications Familiar with DOD and Air Force inventory management systems Previous CICP management desired Forklift operator background desired Special Operations, AFSOC, DOD, Airborne Law Enforcement, or other similar experience desired Familiarity with government contracting desired Practical knowledge of project management.
May manage projects or processes with general supervision.
