Crew Chiefs, Survey Technicians & CADD Technicians

Open positions are Crew Chiefs (experience required), Survey Technicians and possibly CADD Technicians.
Ability to travel is a big plus.
Crew Chiefs Crew Chief Responsibilities/Requirements:
Perform ALTA/NSPS Boundary Surveys.
Perform Pre-Design Topographic/Utilty Surveys.
Hydrographic Survey experience would be a big plus.
Proficient in Operating Surveying Equipment (We are a Trimble Shop).
Identifies hazardous situations and applies company safety procedures.
Professional communication with clients, contractors, teammates, etc.
Transfers survey data to the computer network daily.
Motivate, train, & lead crew & staff members on proper field procedures.
May assist in preparation of survey drawings using AutoCAD software.
Interpretation of design plans to construction/staking/laying out.
Ensures surveys are compliant with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Repetitive lifting will be required at times.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to work outdoors, in various weather conditions and terrain conditions.
Excellent customer service skills.
Organization, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills required.
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Successful candidates should have 10
years of land surveying experience with preference given to those with PLS, LSIT and/or CST certifications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Survey Technicians Survey Technician Responsibilities/Requirements:
Navigate to remote stream sites, sometimes hiking several miles, carrying survey equipment, using GPS and topographic maps.
Maintain rigorous data collection and assessment protocols; identify and report any concerns to supervisor.
Assists in the preparation of data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
Performs surveying tasks on assigned projects and verifies the accuracy of field survey data and required applications.
Working closely with surveyors, engineers, technicians, project managers and support staff.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Interest in learning the art of Land Surveying through hands-on experience.
Ability to quickly acquire skills and learn new techniques.
Knowledge of surveying terminology and operation of surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, and levels).
Ability to think creatively, keep an open mind, and take constructive criticism.
Must be cleared through our insurance to drive.
