00 hourly Primary Duties:
Advises members and potential members of the various share and loan services offered, and answers questions concerning membership eligibility and benefits.
Directs lobby traffic, ensures members are signed-in to be served in first-come, first-served basis.
Keeps MS Supervisor and Branch Manager informed on lobby activity when warranted.
Uses the telephone in a professional manner; screening calls and handling questions pertaining to MS department.
Assists with preparing 10-Day Letters and other correspondence as directed by MS Supervisor.
Explains the difference/benefits of Individual or Joint Ownership on suffixes and designation of payable on death beneficiaries.
Assists members in completing Membership Application, Joint Share Agreement, and/or Payable on Death Beneficiary Forms.
Assists members with removal or changes of Joint Owners and Beneficiaries.
Assists members with opening new certificates, closing certificates, and certificate renewals.
Processes member requests for certificate withdrawals.
Advises member of penalties for early withdrawal.
Completes Monetary Change forms when appropriate.
Assists in taking all Monetary Change form requests requiring file maintenance on a daily basis.
Assists in preparing the weekly Certificate Rate Sheet.
Assists with daily upkeep of BALANCE Certificate emails.
Maintains the Power of Attorney widget and ensures accurate information is listed in our data system for all forms submitted at EFCU.
This includes any FM required once the Power of Attorney has expired or is revoked.
Assists members with opening, closing, and access to Safe Deposit Boxes.
Assists with monthly balancing of activity report.
Assists members with requests for Stop Payment and Affidavits for claims of unauthorized transactions.
Operates PC/terminal for account inquiries, post transactions, completes paperwork and file maintains member name changes, address changes, correction of birth date, ID info, etc.

Encourages all members to enroll in electronic services and prepares paperwork for members requesting ATM cards; Debit cards; Home Branch (on-line banking); Mobile Banking; and Bill Payer.
Assists with issue/control of ATM Cards, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards.
Assists with weekly balancing of instant issue machine.
Completes the necessary paperwork to help members with direct deposit, payroll distribution, and periodic transfer of funds.
Assists members with forms and transactions to transfer funds from other financial institutions.
Assists members with paperwork to establish cross-account access.
Recognizes cross-sell opportunities for all credit union products and services and refers members to Eglin Financial Services.
Orders checks and prints temporary checks.
Assists with resolving Deluxe Alerts on high risk check orders.
This includes alternate shipping addresses, addition of name to check order, recent address change, and multiple orders in a short time period.
Assists with opening/closing department procedures; balances, sorts paperwork for proper distribution; prepares department work to be checked; barcodes, collects shred and secures controlled items.
Maintains supply of Mortgage Services information/applications at the branch and disburses them according to Mortgage Services instructions.
Assists members with repossession bids.
Maintains proper housekeeping of work area, desk equipment, etc.

Assists with ordering supplies for the department as needed.
Ensures reception and lobby areas are stocked with current brochures/flyers.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
Must be bondable.
Must be a high school graduate.
Must have at least one-year experience in loans, new accounts, member services or Credit Union experience.
Must be familiar with all Credit Union loan, membership policies and have general knowledge of other departmental functions.
Must complete annual training and review applicable SOP's 509,509-A, 521 and comply with all regulatory monitoring, record keeping and reporting requirements.
Must be able to operate a PC and Windows, Outlook Exchange, Microsoft Office, typewriter, calculator, and other related office equipment.
Must be able to converse with members and employees, in person or over the phone in a pleasant, courteous, professional and efficient manner.
Must be able to get along well with others.
Must report to work regularly and on time.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
