The Service Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our service department.
This individual will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to greeting customers, moving vehicles, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and functionality of the service area.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
1.
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2.
Safely move vehicles within the service area, including parking and retrieving customer vehicles.
3.
Assist service advisors and technicians as needed, including delivering vehicles to technicians and retrieving parts.
4.
Maintain the cleanliness of the service area, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools and equipment.
5.
Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as washing and vacuuming.
6.
Keep track of inventory and supplies, replenishing as needed.
7.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management.
8.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
