Are you good at following processes? Are you detail orientated and organized? Are you good at spotting possible issues with a product? If this sounds like you, then we would love to have you on our team here at Crane Aerospace and Electronics, as our Assembler II.
As an Electronics Assembler you will perform basic and routine electronic or hybrid assembly operations on components, printed circuit boards, or subassemblies in accordance with military and/or other assembly standards using blue prints, visual aids, wiring lists, verbal and/or written instructions. You may also be responsible for other processes related to the manufacture of electronic assemblies including: encapsulation (potting), conformal coating, SMT operations, and painting. The following responsibilities are typical of what this position may be required to perform, however they are not all inclusive.
This position is currently temporary and will be needed through approximately December 2014 timeframe.
Responsibilities
Soldering components and sub-assemblies as directed to build and complete circuit card assembly.
Work effectively with diverse populations.
Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.
Performing assembly operations, soldering, lead forming, component placement, component prep and mechanical assembly.
Form and blend wire to specification.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
1
years' experience in similar work environment and position
Ability to read and write English
Ability to complete high school arithmetic
Understanding of assembly drawings and component ID
Ability to work with minute parts and finger dexterity
Mil-Standard experience preferred
J-STD-001 certification is preferred
Special working conditions
Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Eligibility requirements include U.S. nationals or permanent residents (Green Card)
