Job Description Part-time IT Helpdesk TechnicianResponsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.
Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.
Duties/Responsibilities of Part-time IT Help Desk Technician:
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
Respond to queries either in person or over the phoneWrite training guidesTrain computer usersMaintain daily performance of computer systemsRespond to email messages for customers seeking helpAsk questions to determine nature of problemWalk customer through problem-solving processInstall, modify, and repair computer hardware and softwareClean up computersRun diagnostic programs to resolve problemsResolve technical problems with Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systemsInstall computer peripherals for usersFollow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolvedGain feedback from customers about computer usageRun reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occurBasic Requirements:
Windows operating system install and troubleshoot - Windows 7 and XPMicrosoft Office 2010 - Word, Excel and PowerPointConfigure iPhone settingsStrong problem solving skills; ability to use knowledge to ask pertinent questions to solve user issuesMust be able to lift and climb as neededMust a self-starter and able to manage own schedule and priorities in an efficient mannerLong term position.
20 hours per week; flexible on hours during typical daytime or 1st shift.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
