Cable Installer CATV Technician
Position Status: Full Time - Permanent
Position Description: If you are the type of individual who is technically inclined, hard working, money motivated, and career minded, this is a great career move! Cable TV Technicians perform installations, upgrades and service repairs of CATV products and services.
Pay is weekly!
INDIVIDUALS WITH WIRING EXPERIENCE &/OR YOUR OWN PICKUP OR VAN, WILL RECEIVE PRIORITY SCREENING!! THIS IS A 1099 POSITION!
Benfits:
Starting pay $1200.00 base pay Weekly
1099 sub contractor
Requirements for prospective Residential Cable Installer candidates:
Must Own a late model Truck/ Van or SUV.
Tools ( Basic hand tools) 18 ft ladder
Valid driver's license.
Be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Physical demands are constant and each candidate must be able to lift 75lbs.
Basic computer networking skills are an advantage!
Qualifications:
o One year experience working as an installation/service technician in the CATV or related industry
o High school diploma or GED required
o Strong customer service and communication skills
o Ability to work independently
o Ability to lift 75 pounds and safely handle a ladder
o Comfortable working outdoors and in small spaces i.e. crawl spaces and attics
o Dedication to company's safety first initiative
o Ability to utilize technology such as a meter and handheld deviceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
