Rental Manager - Condo

Job Description Kelly Services seeking a Rental Manager for two Condos on Okaloosa Island.
The candidate must have at least 1 year with Condominium Transient, Non-residential, Business Management, Hospitality Industry directly related experience.
Hospitality and/or Business Management degree preferred.
Responsible for all Front Desk activities:
Staffing - supervision and scheduling of sameOpening and closing of Rental OfficeReservations from check-in through check-outFamiliarity with condo reservation system a plus but NOT requiredCorresponds with guests and owners as it relates to rentalsE-mail responses to inquiriesTrouble shooting for all rental functionsRate surveys of competitionRate revision by January 15th of each year and printing of sameBalancing of cash and security of all money, including petty cashBatching of sales transactionsBudget preparation and management for all front desk activitiesKey securityProofing of monthly owner's statements pertaining to accuracy of reservations, referral fees, cleaning fees, maintenance charges, etc.

Annual inspection of all units to ascertain condition and appearance, determine need to update/upgrade and inform owner's in writingProcedures Manual for Front Desk activitiesRotation schedulingAdvertising:
Data base mailingsSelective response to prospective business leads Guest database E-blasts to announce specials, etc.
Coordinate with TDC/CVB and FWB Chamber of Commerce to include attending meetings, as applicable.
Keep literature stocked at TDC Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce officePrinting of advertising materials to include proofingMonitoring of website and various links.
Website update coordination with WebmasterDevelopment of innovative creative ideas to promote new business and encourage repeat businessPhone System:
Voice Mail Messages for Main GreetingsFamiliarity with Concierge system and ability to trouble shootPersonalization of unit phonesOther duties, as necessary, to maintain a smooth and efficient Front Desk operation.
Must be flexible to work a day shift Monday through Friday and rotating weekends.
Pay rate is $15 to $20 per hour.
